You will gain broad exposure across strategic finance, capital planning, governance, and investment decision\u2011making, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business including Group FP&A, Liberty Blume (outsourced back-office Finance team) and external debt\/equity partners.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The role combines strong technical foundations with real commercial influence. You will take ownership of core corporate budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes, while also supporting financing initiatives, investment analysis, and the development of scalable corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycle, delivering accurate, transparent, and timely insights to senior leadership and investors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Support the execution of financing initiatives (e.g. equity sales, JV structuring, junior financings) in close collaboration with legal, commercial, and external advisors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Support M&A and strategic transactions, including post\u2011transaction integration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision\u2011making and drive accountability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Design, build, and continuously enhance financial models and planning tools, with a particular focus on equity funding, capital at risk, and long\u2011term value creation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Own and evolve external debt reporting across projects, working closely with Liberty Blume to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Deliver high\u2011quality deep\u2011dive analysis (variance, trend, and sensitivity) to identify risks, optimise outcomes, and support strategic choices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Drive continuous improvement across planning, reporting, and forecasting processes, leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve speed, accuracy, and insight.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Uphold strong corporate governance standards, ensuring compliance with financial, contractual, and reporting frameworks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Management Reporting & Performance Insights<\/b><\/p>\n Deliver month\u2011end commentary to Group FP&A and CFO Growth, based on month-end accounts provided by Liberty Blume, including clear insights on project economics and portfolio performance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Develop and maintain scenario\u2011based forecasting tools to support strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Track and analyse performance against budget across in\u2011construction and operational projects, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintain and own the cash flow forecast, ensuring sufficient liquidity to support growth and investment ambitions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Other Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n Review VAT returns against expected monthly spend, ensuring alignment with project forecasts and timely identification of variances.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Lead and contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives, providing commercial rigour and financial leadership across the business.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ability to influence senior leaders, present clearly, and drive financial narratives<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Proactive approach and can-do attitude, comfortable working with ambiguity<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Demonstrates commercial acumen with a good grasp of key financial performance drivers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Comfortable working in an agile environment, easily able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly and calmly to change<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
