The role offers hybrid working, with two days per week based in the office.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be responsible for end-to-end payroll administration within Blume Business Solutions, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll credit transfers, responding to payroll queries, and maintaining full compliance with statutory and company regulations to enhance customer efficiency, effectiveness, and trust.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><b>What will you be doing? <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resolve complex payroll queries and issues, escalating when required.<\/li>\n<li>Process payroll transactions accurately and on time.<\/li>\n<li>Support payroll payments, including credit transfers and emergency CHAPS payments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate statutory deductions and timely submission of all statutory returns, including taxable benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Manage non\u2011statutory deductions, ensuring correct payments and returns to third\u2011party organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver high\u2011quality, customer\u2011focused payroll advice to employees, managers, and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor statutory and company changes and support timely payroll system updates in collaboration with IT teams.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to payroll projects and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>We tend to look for people with:\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience and knowledge of payroll operations, including BACS processing and company pension schemes.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, salary sacrifice, benefits in kind, and attachment of earnings orders.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of end\u2011to\u2011end payroll processing, including month\u2011end and year\u2011end activities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills and experience of Oracle systems and workflow or case management tools.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience managing complex, high\u2011volume payrolls efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Awareness of developments within payroll and Shared Services environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience providing timely, detailed payroll reporting, information, and advice<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of process improvement principles and their practical application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What\u2019s in it for you? <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary<\/li>\n<li>25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more<\/li>\n<li>Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance<\/li>\n<li>Matched pension contribution up to 10%<\/li>\n<li>24 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off<\/li>\n<li>Discounted gym and wellness memberships<\/li>\n<li>Access to our car benefit scheme<\/li>\n<li>Access to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with us<\/li>\n<li>The chance to join an innovative, fast-paced and passionate team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who we are: <\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Liberty Blume, a Liberty Global company, is a rapidly growing business services provider, specialising in tech-enabled back-office solutions.
