Job Summary: The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational phase of the utility scale renewable energy projects with an initial portfolio size of some 232 MW.
The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for maximising the technical, commercial, and financial performance of a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV assets. The role oversees day-to-day operations, contractor performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term optimisation strategies. Working closely with O&M providers, landowners, grid operators, technical advisors, and internal investment teams, the Senior Asset Manager ensures assets operate safely, reliably, and profitably throughout their lifecycle.
This position requires strong technical understanding across PV systems, combined with commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Operational Leadership<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lead site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant working practices. Oversee daily plant performance, maintenance scheduling, incident response, and KPI delivery across availability, performance, and cost efficiency. Ensure all activities comply with safety rules, legislation, and internal procedures.
2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Performance & Asset Optimisation<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Monitor system data to identify trends, faults, and improvement opportunities. Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and predictive and preventative maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and enhance asset life. Regularly review key equipment performance to address systemic issues.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Evaluate opportunities for repowering, equipment upgrades, and technology improvements.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lead root-cause investigations related to plant underperformance or recurring failures.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support long-term degradation modelling and asset-life extension planning.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Review SCADA system data and propose enhancements or advanced monitoring solutions.
3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Contractual and Commercial Management<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Manage O&M, PPA, land lease, and service contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial terms.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Handle contractual disputes, claims, and performance LDs where applicable.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support renegotiation or replacement of service providers based on performance and portfolio needs.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Review and challenge O&M reports, maintenance logs, and root-cause analyses.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance and quality.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support renegotiation or replacement of service providers based on performance and portfolio needs.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support contract review and negotiation for new assets or transitions.
4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Commercial & Financial Oversight<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Track plant revenues, operating costs, and budget variance across the portfolio.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support annual budget preparation and long-term operational expenditure planning.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinate with finance teams on revenue reconciliation, PPAs, metering, and settlement issues.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Keep a track of latest innovations in the industry and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.
5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Regulatory, Compliance & HSE<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure compliance with grid codes, environmental permits, land leases, and local regulations.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Oversee implementation of HSE policies and safety standards across all service providers.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure assets meet reporting obligations to authorities and stakeholders including offtakers, lenders, sponsor, etc.
6.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Stakeholder Management<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Act as the key point of contact for landowners, grid operators, insurers, and external advisors.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting to investors and management.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support insurance claims, loss-adjuster processes, and technical investigations.
7.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Technical Support for M&A, Financing & Investment<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide asset-level data, performance history, and technical insights for refinancing or portfolio transactions.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Assess operational condition and risks of potential acquisition targets.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support technical due diligence and provide recommendations to investment teams.
8.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0ESG, Sustainability & Data Reporting<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lead on ESG reporting requirements, including biodiversity actions, land management, and carbon performance indicators.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure data quality for corporate reporting and digital asset management platforms.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support procurement teams for compliance with ESG\/sustainability requirements of the customers and egg Power.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/b>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0Relevant years of experience in solar PV asset management, operations, or related fields.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Strong technical understanding of PV systems, inverters, SCADA systems, and HV equipment.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Proven experience managing O&M contractors and interpreting technical performance data.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Relationships with different service providers in the renewable industry.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Familiarity with PPAs, land leases, grid codes, and operational contracts.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Experience with financial models, operating budgets, and revenue reporting.
